Who we are

Samsara (NYSE: IOT) is the pioneer of the Connected Operations™ Cloud, which is a platform that enables organizations that depend on physical operations to harness Internet of Things (IoT) data to develop actionable insights and improve their operations. At Samsara, we are helping improve the safety, efficiency and sustainability of the physical operations that power our global economy. As part of a recently public company, you’ll have the autonomy and support to make an impact as we build for the long term.

The Samsara Tax Department strives to be a best-in-class tax function that manages core tax processes efficiently while continuously adding value across the business. We are looking for a Senior Tax Accountant to join our Indirect Tax team and own day-to-day indirect tax compliance for North America (United States, Canada, and Mexico), manage relationships with our indirect tax advisors, and assist with indirect tax planning.

The ideal candidate is customer service oriented, has a strong work ethic, is eager to learn, and can turn complex tax rules into concise, easy-to-understand guidance for non-tax audiences.

You will work closely with our Tax Technology and Operations team, external tax advisors, and Finance partners. This is a great opportunity to help shape how we scale and automate indirect tax at Samsara! This role reports to the Manager II, Tax Accounting
